GUNDOG BREEDS

Hunting dogs, also called bird dogs, are a category of dog breeds developed to assist hunters to find and retrieve game, usually birds.

Gundogs are divided into three primary classes: Retrievers, flushing spaniels, and pointing breeds.

There are several types of gundogs, each type consisting of multiple breeds. These are Pointers, Setters, Retrievers, Flushing Spaniels and Waterdogs. The list below contains a more detailed list of the breeds.
